Kai Whaka Pai Cafe in Wanaka is an old favourite.It's been there for years and although it has recently slipped into bar mode in the evenings, it's still a popular coffee stop on the main street of Wanaka at any time of year. I love the little kete (baskets) they use on the tables, to contain sugar sachets.
