Tiki, Auckland. April 2009. Ajr To say that the hei tiki is the decorative symbol of the moment is a total understatement! They are everywhere! In every conceivable medium you can think of. I loved these fat little felt tiki that I spied in an Auckland retail outlet. They're bigger than most I've seen - cushion size almost. Maybe that's what they're meant to be - cushions. Or small pillows?
